Ben Em National Garden

Ben Em National Garden,Nhu Thanh district, Thanh Hoa, Vietnam
Located in Nhu Thanh district, 36km to the southwest of Thanh Hoa city, this site covers an area of 16,634 ha.

The garden is a magnificent complex of embracing mountains, rivers, lakes and a variety of wild fauna and flora. Such rare species of animals as elephants, bears, tigers, monkeys along with age-old ironwood and numerous kinds of tropical plants like textured wood, aloe wood can all be found in this national gardens. Inside the garden, a lake of 4,000 ha with 21 islets provides picturesque landscapes, making the garden an attractive site for ecology tourism.

Hai Van rocky mountain range is famous for its beautiful grottoes of Ngoc, Can and Hai Van Resistance's Furnace Cavern which is a historical place associated with the production for the first time of Vietnam's own cast iron and then weapons under the instruction of Doctor and Professor Tran Dai Nghia, contributing to the Dien Bien Phu historic victory.
