Here is the place where the founder Kings were born and started their work. When Tran Dynasty was officially founded, this place was chosen to build temples and mausoleums for the royal such as Tran Kings’ mausoleums, Tran Thu Do’s mausoleum ( a first highest ranking manderin of the Court ), Khuoc temple, etc. Tran Kings such as Tran Thanh Tong, Tran Thai Tong, Tran Nhan Tong and their wifes were buried in the mausoleums namely Tho, Chieu, Du, Quy Duc,etc. Apart from the mausoleums, the Kings also built such palaces as Tinh Cuong, Hung Khanh, Thien An, Dien Hien.

The history of Vietnam from the 13th to 14th century (1226 – 1400) had the close ties with the contribution and the greatly development of Tran Dynasty. Three famous victories of defeating Nguyen Mong invaders and the fights to Chiem Thanh in the South contributed to the development of the army science and art of the Dynasty. In the time of rulling the country, such fields as economy, politics, culture and society strongly developed which created a particular culture of Dai Viet ( an old name of Vietnam). The names of Tran Kings and their victories in Southern Bo Dau, Chuong Duong, Ham Tu, Tay Ket, Bach Dang are the fame of Vietnamese people forever.

For such cultural and historical meanings and values, this zone was ranked into the list of the national historical places on Vietnam. Therefore, it is not only an attractive to historians and cultural reseachers but also to the domestic and foreignal visitors.
