I have an entry visa to vietnam for the 4th of december can i enter earlier without changing the visa

You can only enter later than the date on the visa but not earlier

I have heard that there are plenty of ATM machines around in Vietnam, so withdrawel of cash with a "normal" card should be no probelm.
But what about VISA Electron? Does the ATM:S and /or banks accept this kind of card?

I am planning to visit Hanoi in 1-2 weeks for a long weekend and to see some friends. I have a Dutch Passport and my wife has a Thai passport. We resident in Thailand. Can we get a Visa on entree as they do in Thailand, Indonesia and other countries around us?
