Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival (D)
Arrival in the city of World Heritage, Angkor Wat! Far East Tour’s guide and driver will pick you up at the airport then transfer to hotel for check – in.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 2: Angkor Historical Park (B,L,D)
AM: we visit the immense walled city Angkor Thom, the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. Then we continue along the Terrace of Elephants, originally used as a viewing gallery for the king to preside over parades, performances and traditional sports. At the southern end lies the Baphuon, once of the most beautiful temples at Angkor, dating from the reign of Uditayavarman 1 in the 11th century. Next comes the enigmatic and enchanting temple of the Bayon.
Afterwards visit Taprom Temple and back to Siem Reap town and have lunch at local restaurant.
PM: Visit the amazing Angkor Wat which is believed to be the world's largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers. Watch sunset from the top of Bakheng hill.
Dinner at local restaurant with buffet and traditional Apsara Show. Overnight in Siem Reap
Day 3: Kbal Spean – Bantey Srei (B,L,D)
AM: Breakfast at the hotel, visit Kbal Spean, distance is 49km from Siem Reap Town and it is literally means "The head of the River.” It is one of the rivers in 1000 lingas that made up of unique lingas. Lingas stands into the riverbed of the Siem Reap River. It was believed that the lingas spiritually "fertilized” the waters that fed the Eastern bay and irrigated the rice fields. Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch, visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre. Afterwards back to Siem Reap. Dinner at local restaurant with buffet and traditional Apsara Show. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 4: Angkor National Museum - Departure (B, L)
AM: Visit the Angkor National Museum a profound cultural landmark in Siem Reap placing in the area of 20,000 Sq.m. which combined together The Museum: The world-class museum that reveals the legend of Golden Era of Khmer Kingdom, and The Museum Mall: The lifestyle landmark providing completed facilities and recreation services for both tourists and local community. Forward, visit Chantier Ecole-Artisan d’angkor, the place is in the Ministry of Education that was constructed in 1992, this place renowned woodworking, stone carving and polychrome training center and workshops. Free tour of different classes and workshops offer a glimpse into the unique skills training program, teaching young artists about the techniques and styles of classic Cambodian Artistry. Lunch at local restaurant.
PM : Visit Old Market for shopping then transfer to the airport for departure flight. Tour ends. Far East Tour awaits to serve your next trip.
